Umpire's Needed
For the coming season the Lords International League is intending to set up its first umpires’ panel and I am writing to all new and existing umpires in the area to see if you would be able to offer us any dates.
I am aware that, as new umpires, some of you may want to join the panels of the Shepherd Neame or other leagues, but even if you were able to offer us just a few dates then we would still like to hear from you.
Equally if you would be willing to umpire for us at short notice, say if you were on the reserve list another League but didn’t get an appointment, this would still be useful for us.
Our League is made up of 4 divisions and our aim is to be able to cover at least most of our Premier Division games for this season. I attach a list of our Premier Division clubs and also a full league structure.
We are able to offer expenses of £30 per game and we will only make appointments in pairs so that you always have another panel umpire. We will be flexible in appointing you to games that are most convenient for you.
